Attack of the clones is the only truly bad one. Revenge of the sith is good, and phantom menace just sucks because of jar jar

Well I know the actor who played Darth Maul is an excellent martial artist and swordsman. I think for the other two movies, they were just trying to get each one more spectacular or exciting or something.

I don't know what happened after TPM. The fights in that movie are flash, but could pass for real fights. The other two they just went full retard.

The Papatine / Jedis battle was the worst of those for sure.

TPM is the only prequel that has good fights. The lighsaber duels in II and III are moronic. All the flipping and twirling, it was so stupid. TPM and the originals resemble real fights more.

Certainly the fight choreography was vastly superior. In the original trilogy it looked like they were having light saber duels in slow motion.

The political aspect was actually pretty good,shows you how a Hitleresq type society can come into being and yes,the empire was extremely Xenophobic and either killed or forced a lot of Aliens into slavery.

I never bothered with anything after Attack of the Clones. I saw it in the theater and was bored out of my mind. I would have left if I hadn't been w/other people. That experience turned me off of returning to a theater for a while.

Attack of the Clones
has the best sound mix of all the Start Wars films, IMO. The 6.1 audio on the Blue Ray bests Atmos tracks on some of the 4K discs I have. It's definitely one of my "demo" titles I use when showing off my surround sound setup!

One thing I think is certain…williams brought down the house with the phantom menace's soundtrack! It blew me away back in 99!!!

The podrace scene in the theater or with a big TV and sound ind system is fun as hell. I remember it coming out when surround sound was just getting popular, and when the new, better theater just popped up in town.

I didn't so much dislike Jakes acting neither as much as I minded the poorly written character Lucas made him. Lots of mistakes…but at the end it was a complete story. Something the sequels can not claim.

Yeah, that type of kid character was popular at the time. Kids loved it. At that point, I think I was just a little too old to enjoy him.
