Because the foundational and formative principal of this country is white supremacy and white privilege. Native tribes in the America's had to be dehumanized and demonized as less than human savages in order to make it acceptable to wipe them out and steal their land. over hundreds of years
Blacks had to be dehumanized and demonized in the same ways in order to make it acceptable to steal them, chain them, buy them, sell them, rape them, split up their families and work them to death as slaves. for hundreds of years and in order to continue to mistreat them and screw them in every way for the political purpose of mistreating and screwing as many people as possible with policies put in place by people who run on racist scapegoating and race baiting for well over a hundred years since the end of slavery.
Additionally all sorts of races and nationalities have been imported from other countries as tools to drive down wages and the same thing is done with domestic migration/importation of labor in the same ways. Blacks brought up from the south to work in the auto industry etc.
Politicians & media, bought, paid for, owned, and representing the ownership class, sell the idea of blaming immigrant or migrant workers for their problems rather than the people who are using everyone against each other, whom are the ones they're actually voting for and supporting!
It all boils down to money, profit, greed and being able to brainwash generation after generation into not understanding who and what their real enemies are.
Americans have been bred to be ignorant, stupid, gullible and compliant, enthusiastic even, to fascist interests, to their own detriment. Racism is the biggest building block in all of it.
So fracking stupid.

I agree. White American males have a very narrow taste when it comes to women (Paris Hilton) and rarely appreciate anything else. Furthermore, if they find themselves attracted to a black female, they try to "justify the attraction" by insisting the black girl must be mixed. This allows them to not feel so "icky" about having a crush on a black (part black female). It's the same thing on Zoe Saldana's board. Every white guy who has a thing for her is denying she's black; this is despite Zoe saying she's black.
Why can't they just own up to the fact that they find a female who just happens to be black or part black attractive and leave it at that? It seems like the only way they can find a black female attractive is when they believe she's not black or not fully black. Because you know, finding out Jessica is part black and Zoe is black just changes their opinion of them completely. God forbid they have a crush on a black girl and admit it w/o the beep

In the U.S. (as I'm not american and I don't live there), what ethnicity would Jessica fit in? I mean, I was always curious, is she considered black in the U.S. or something else? Actually, her father is Hungarian (hence the name Szohr) and her mother is half black and half Hungarian.
Wrong, she is only half Hungarian. The remaining quarter is a combination of multiple European ethnicities. She's half Hungarian American, a quarter African American, and a quarter White "Other".

Yes, mixed people DO exist. You don't know what the hell you're talking about. I have some mixed folks in my familynothing weird or unusual about it. Basically, mixed people are only strange or exotic to anyone who's never been around them,period. They're just regular people,like anyone else on this earth.
