These scenes all contain real feces.
In Nosferatu (1979), there is a scene of a pig walking across the screen as feces falls out of its rectum.
In Woyzeck (1979), there is a close-up of a goat with feces falling out of its red and swollen anus.
In Grizzly Man (2005), during a fight with two bears, one bear defecates a massive load of green feces. Later in the film, the main character lovingly touches and caresses fresh and warm feces from a bear.
And these are only from the films I have seen from Herzog! There may be more, as I have not seen the vast majority of Herzog's filmography.
I've never seen this much focus on real feces from any other director.
