of 'em–not just good ones but, as the title indicates, iconic ones. Seems like a good idea for a thread.<br />
Gotta start with Lalo Schifrin's MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE theme, which was written to be used during a chase sequence in the M:I series pilot but Bruce Geller loved it so much, it became the show's main theme (and has remained, in various versions, through every iteration of M:I over the decades):<br />

<p dir="auto">Yeah! lol. The live-action version of THE TICK from probably 20 years ago had a scene with Dave Foley running around a desk with a cap playing that song. I great up watching THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO but for whatever reason, that goofy-ass moment stuck in my head.<br />
