I want to own the movie so that I can watch it when I feel like it and as many times as I feel like it.
I'm sick of these streaming platforms lending each other the movies so that they can get sub fees or as for Prime, revenue to rent.

I don't like streaming but I like digital files on a flash drive or hard drive.
DVDs easily scratch and damage. Also take up space and often the movies aren't worth owning.
You can have bigger collections of digital files and many can be stored on one device or drive.

I agree up to a point. I hate having to find a disc and put it into a machine when a few clicks of a remote can play the darn thing.

On Vudu, you can buy digital copies. But yes, I prefer DVDs, and I have about 600 films, despite having thrown at least 1,000 I didn't like.
