Does anyone know where I can get replacement DVD boxset cases - just the outer case/box, not the whole thing? I have several DVD boxsets where the outer case is damaged but the DVDs themselves are fine - are there any sellers who sell just the cases?

I've bought a lot of these over the yearsdouble cases, 4, 6, 8 and 10 disc cases, too. I'd suggest you do a search on Amazon or Ebay to get a sense what the price range is, and keep in mind that the larger of a quantity you buy of them the better a deal you'll get on price per case, too.
