Troll 2 in some way. This isn't a big spoiler, but there is one scene where the Norwegian PM is on the phone with the American president… Could have made that a video call and cast the dad from the OG Troll 2 πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Well, yeah, but they seem to be going for very different things. The first one was very fun Godzilla type movie, while this is a little of that and a little Indiana Jones.
But it is undoubtedly the best movie I've ever seen named Troll 2

The first one wasn't as good as Trolljegeren. That's THE definitive troll movie imo. Also one of the best found footage films ever.

This wasn't as good as the first movie, but still a lot of fun. A couple of really nice action set pieces, but much of the time is spent building the troll mythology. I'm totally there for part three if it happens.
