<p dir="auto">I like the old 1951 classic - Scrooge.   Alistair Sim was a perfect Scrooge and it kept to Dicken's story and atmosphere the best, imo.</p>

The George C Scott version from 1984.<br />
The short animated film from 1971.<br />

<p dir="auto">Robert Eggers version should be good. Is this the one with Jim Carrey? I watched it when it came out, but don't remember being all that impressed.<br />
I'd rank the 1951 version with Alastair Sim first and The Muppet Christmas Carol right behind it.<br />
