I like the old 1951 classic - Scrooge. Alistair Sim was a perfect Scrooge and it kept to Dicken's story and atmosphere the best, imo.

There are three adaptations I like most.
The George C Scott version from 1984.
The short animated film from 1971.
And this one.

1984 is great also!! My favorite before they made the 09 version

Robert Eggers version should be good. Is this the one with Jim Carrey? I watched it when it came out, but don't remember being all that impressed.
I'd rank the 1951 version with Alastair Sim first and The Muppet Christmas Carol right behind it.
