Some people find this boring - and that is because this is intelligent movie. The humor is not straightforward, it is more atmospheric humor.
In one such scene Woody and Diane are standing outside a building and each of them are talking really fast and they are explaining to the police officers and detectives about the murder and body that they have seen in the building.
And they talk really fast and with vigor and force trying to describe what they seen - for about couple of minutes.
And at one point one of the detective says calmly - there was no body there.
hahaah

And they are like, what, what are you saying.
This is funny to me because I experienced similar situation like that.
I don't usually talk to strangers but I did once, try to explain something and I talked for a few minutes and the lady said to me that I am at the wrong place, I am talking to the wrong person.

Valentine and Earl arguing over who's making breakfast at the very start of the film is goddamn ****in' hilarious.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

I liked Earl's line. It seemed very realistic

Though it's annoying the bad dub over the line. On the tv version, Burt says he killed the "Damn monster." On the DVD I have, he says we killed that "Mother Humper." But clearly, neither of those were the original line, looking at Kevin Bacon's lip movements.
