Actors don't have to be good looking or young. It depends on the role.
I disagree about Diane Keaton, though. She looks terrific for a "senior," and her personality is nothing like a "senior." She is unique. She'll have roles until she drops dead.
Allen was never good looking. So he doesn't play characters that are supposed to be good looking.
