So, yesterday - a message popped up, "Cannot play this disc. The disc does not meet the specifications". And I chatted to the Live Tech support and they told me that I do not have the latest firmware. So, I downloaded the latest one and now, thankfully it works.
Smart Hubs actually notifies me that there are new updates. Is there any way how to set this thing up for it to notify me?

Hi!
Blu Ray players can notify you of firmware updates. There's usually an option in the setup menu called 'firmware notification' or something similar.
I've noticed this setting on Oppo and Sony players.
Personally, I check for an update manually about once every two months.
