I'm talking about Paul Scofield ofcourse.
Quiz Show is a fascinating masterpiece with A++ performances and writing across the board. but Paul beep Scofield gets nominated for an acting award and all of the other stars dont?!
Ralph Fiennes, Joe Turttoro, Rob Morrow, and David Paymer were all vastly superior to Scofield's forgetable performance as a forgetable character. This is just another weak Oscar nominated performance by an aging actor who is far past their prime, unfortunately things like this happen too often.

but he didn't convince me with that bad accent.
For the last time (HA!) that bad accent WAS Richard Goodwin.

If I were to list the actors you mentioned in order of excellence in their roles, I would say: Scofield (brilliant), Turturro, Paymer, Fiennes, Morrow. I think Rob Morrow is a fine actor, but he didn't convince me with that bad accent.
