some families function better with a head of the household leading. it's usually the man.
some don't.
but men who are not capable of being the head of the household are insecure about it and try to frame it as a bad thing or some kind of "patriarchal oppression of women"
there's nothing wrong with wanting to be in a family unit where the man is the primary decision maker.
there's also nothing wrong with wanting a dysfunctional family unit either where the man is a cuck. bentley is perfectly well within his rights to enjoy that lifestyle.

I think this just depends on what the couple wants too. There are many women who actually like being the submissive one, but to an extent of course. The type of men who are in “charge” seem to be more attentive to their wives and value their role in the marriage and family, unless if that’s just a misconception based on how they’re perceived. I guess if that’s what they believe in for themselves then let it be that way. I get not everyone will agree and they don’t have to follow that way of thinking

Men should treat their partners as equals. I have no time for that "confident man" bullshit. They can be confident to the outside world. My point is that Kirk's basic advice is for men to be in charge.

I was thinking we were gonna disagree again lol… but yeah, lack of communication is a death knell of relationships, and it's gotta be both sides. I felt like that is at least partly what killed the last relationship. I was the only one fully opening up. She would avoid talking about things, and the very very few times there was a conflict, she stewed on it for a long time before it became this big thing. I usually had to get it out of her. I could sense it. Then I'd find out she'd been mulling thos over for longer than I noticed. Like, ****.
I am so willing to please and be flexible… to do what I can to fix things, but I gotta know what it is. I gotta know it's a problem.
