or for anyone who reads mangas.(It is rumored there is a difference.)
Despite the pointless noise in the media, there's nothing here beyond a high school level rehash of Nazism ascending. If you don't know all of this already, then you weren't paying any attention in your sophomore year.
As for dramatic worth which do you prefer? Robert Carlyle's scrawny, squeaky Hitler? Or Bruno Ganz's grouchy, dumpy Hitler? (I'll go for Dick Shawn's spacey, singing Hitler at least that one was
intentionally
funny!)
The one good thing about this 'teen cartoon is that it comes in a completely undeserved two DVD set.
Ignore the psuedo-documentary featuring the oafs responsible for this romper room redo congratulating themselves upon what a great job they did.(Although, their dimwitted defense of why they had corporal Hitler beating his dog in an opening scene truly must be seen to be disbelieved.)
Instead, watch the documentary "Hitler: A Career" which is also on the second disk, and based upon Joachim Fest's excellent 800 page book. Watch it or read it, and you will unavoidably end up regretting wasting your time on either HTRE or "Der Untergang."
Even better, the documentary is also available on a disk by itself. Check DVD Empire, Deep Discount DVD or Amazon. Or even try your local main library!
Either way, you can see it or own it without embarrassing yourself by having these manga-nazis in your living room.
BTW: Is the plural of oaf
oafs
or
oaves
?

I do like that you know who Leslie Phillips is and can take a little British smut comedy in your stride Edward
The penny dropping on how to pronounce my username always makes me chuckle

They certainly are a handy tool Edward
As long as you get to say what you are thinking they can be very useful, I think "Necessarily" and a few other words get fixed easily for me and so it does speed up the process of articulation between my mind and my fingers

I'm sure my spellchecker is US friendly. Which is OK because when I do my reviews I always try to use Americanized English anyway. I reckon spellcheckers are a boon no matter which side of the Atlantic they prefer because I make my share of mistakes when I'm in a hurry.

Spellcheckers are devious little things which often don't work quite as nicely as we would hope for them to. Even just sticking to the English language there are the US and English variations of often used words which don't match up and that's before we bring regional slants into it.
Still, better than nothing Edward

That's interesting that oaves (my spellchecker has just challenged it) exists. But it follows the rules. 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' is the only time I spell dwarves that way. BTW my spellchecker has just challenged dwarves.
