For a student looking for a glut of information for a report on the Nazis or Hitler, this is a good start, but it will definitely leaving you wanting to read and explore deeper into the material that exists throughout the web.

This is a surface level documentary, people, dates, and numbers. It doesn't really go into serious academic like history, it's just what happens and when.

It's a decent documentary. Not great, but decent. Unfortunately, there have been so many documentaries on WWII in the last ten years they all just seem to be the same info, presented in a different way and with a different narrator.
It does leave a bit to be desired, as again, it is pretty much the same footage and info released many times, with a lot of added filler. For someone who is not familiar with WWII, though, it's pretty decent.
I still think that the best WWII doc is the original, if you will: World at War. This doc is long, for sure, but it's very informative and doesn't leave much to the imagination. It slaps you in the faceexactly what a doc about this subject should do.
I would give Hitler and the Nazis a three out of five stars. Again, adequate, but nothing new, and nothing special.
The plural of mouse is mice. The plural of goose is geese. Why is the plural of moose not meese?
