Personally I think patriotism in all it's forms is stupid.
If your country is doing something wrong you should be free to acknowledge it.
But I understand tribalism.
There's a reason people are patriotic or "jingoistic" to use a more accurate term.
What I don't understand is why a Canadian and a German, both gentiles are so fiercely jingoistic over a country they have literally zero ties too.
Why Israel?
Why not Belize or Trinidad and Tobago?
