Sometimes they're much closer and not only on Facebook. I was at a corner Dollar General store and when I came out I noticed a note under my windshield wiper saying 'I'd love to get with you," and gave me a phone number. It was creepy because quite likely he was following me around in the store and I didn't even notice it but obviously saw what car I got out of to place the note there.

I've had my friends that were female and my GF show me the constant creepy messages they get in Facebooknot saying they're all killers but literally everyday they just get random posts from guys they've never met asking them to "hook up" and "what's up with u?"
It really opened my eyes, as a male obviously I don't get messages from strangers. Anyway, my point is you'd be a little crazy to even think about meeting up with these peoplewho does that?
While they may be "fear-mongering" if I were a female no way would I meet someone from the Internet. And the guysthey get "catfished" constantly and it's so obvious to everyone around them but they're still in denialjust creeps me out..like that one episode called "catfished." Wtf

What are you talking about? These are real cases about naive people. It's not like they are behaving any type of crazy way. These are real cases about real people who have died due to meeting someone on the internet.
This show is pretty good about the facts. So far the cases and the show have been similar.
And this really isn't a fear-mongering show. Maybe to younger viewers. But most people know that people on the internet are not always who they say they are.
