It wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen but in my opinion it was not scary enough to warrant an R rating. The hype ruined it.

Agree 😞
it's really weird that i often find the 'popular' horror movies like Insidious, Mama, Sinister, and this one so overrated (oh oh except Orphan and Dead Silence, i think those are good)
but low rating beep like Eden Lake and Tamara scares me so bad (idk if that even counts as horror).
Not tryna be a special snowflake here but i'm sure ppl will see it like that anyway -_-
