It was okay. Everyone ate it. Dad had seconds. The sour flavor and sour gravy is a bit weird, but it didn't taste sour when added to meat and potatoes. I probably wouldn't make it again. I think corned beef and cabbage is a lot better. Cant wait for St Pattys day!

You have German heritage?

It is a German pot roast that is marinated in pickling brine for several days. I just put the raw meat in the marinade. I'll keep it in the refrigerator until Saturday, and then cook it.
