I was somewhat into pokemon as a kid. The cards were really popular when I was a kid in the 90's because they were new to the west. I LOVED the gameboy games and didnt mind the TV show either.
If they made a current day version of the old gameboy games for the PS5 i'd buy it straight away.

I'm kinda glad I didn't get into it, with how JK has been lately. I already have enough problematic favorites. Even before that, I never was a fan of "chosen one" types of stories. Going to school, even if it is a wizarding one was never my idea of a fantasy lol. I hated school.

I tried reading the first book and I watched the first movie. I really went in with an open mind, but I just couldn't get into it.

I never jumped on the harry potter bandwagon until they were done with the movies. I read the first few books in high school and the way my mind portrayed them were boring af and I thought the movies would follow suit and be too immature for me. I was so wrong lol
