You can make it in the oven too, but one thing I love about jerky is the convenience. I wanna buy sone other stuff before a dehydrator, like an offset smoker.

Dehydrators can be fairly cheap. Get one and then ask a butcher for eye of round, sliced into very thin strips. Then follow the same recipe I've already described or try out different marinades. Venison is way better though, if you can get your hands on it.

I think you can make your own jerky in the oven. I'm sure if you google it, they have some tips. Not sure how good it will be.

I might have, but not sure. If I did, it was when I was a kid.
I make some pretty good turkey. Not that it takes much skill, but so many people **** it up and dry it out. I use a cajun butter injection, and cook it in an oven bag. Comes out tender and juicy.

Ever had wild turkey? Not the whiskey lol. So much better than the **** from the store.

I miss when we used to be in contact with my uncle, who hunts. He'd give us deer meat sometimes or even cook it for family gatherings.

Venison. Cut it into strips and marinade it overnight before dehydrating it. Marinade in soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, black pepper, and a splash of bourbon.

They're everywhere here. I feel like they're a bit more expensive than they should be so I often go with the meat sticks, which have a similar flavor, but a bit of a different texture and they're cheaper.
I saw a Brit mom and son try one and they hated it though lol.

I just dont really see it on shelves that much, i am sure its there I just never really look that much, I never seem to crave it while food shopping lol.
Plus its the UK so we probably just have the bog standard jerky while you guys got the whole honey glazed wood smoked jalapeano flavour **** going on lol

I get random cravings for salty dehydrated meat for some reason, it's strange because it's not really a food type I am acustomed too.

I'd buy them if they came back. I buy those Skippy PB bites every now and then.

Planters said they didn't sell well, but I find it hard to believe with how many people want them back. And yeah, peanut butter snacks are huge, but not sure if that was the case back then.
I remember the shell being light and crunchy and rhe middle being similar to the texture of Skippy PB Bites or maybe the middlle of Reese's Cups.
I've had what you posted. They're okay.
I always loved filled things, whether it's Gushers, chicken cordon bleu, Ferrero Rochere candy, mozzarella sticks, etc.

I've never heard of those but I'm surprised there isn't an offbrand version of them. Peanut Butter themed snacks seem to sell well in other forms.
I pretty much always have a box of these in my cupboard and recommend if you want a new crunchy PB snack to try
