Actually they just said that they found it a decent opener for an RTD opener. One of the better ones but they admit that isn’t saying very much. Their favourite RTD opener is still Smith and Jones. They also pointed out some of the more subtle commentary (the cost of living crisis being reflected in Belinda’s living arrangements) and their dislike for the more unsubtle commentary ‘planet of the incels’.
They don’t do ratings but from their overall tone I would guess a 7/10.
Sounds like they gave it a touch higher than I would have Bobby. I'd have gone for a low 6 if it hadn't been for how the BBC and Disney have marketed it. But it's a firm 4 because of that
What did you think of The Doctor killing a man and then laughing about him being thrown away even though he could have been saved? I mean the episode over all?
I thought it was right up there with that wire scene in Genesis of the Daleks personally

Well Lemon says in the video doesn’t he that he doesn’t remember now if she was actually there or someone who she knew was. He’s unclear on that detail. Even if it was her, I can recall more family type restauranty pubs or pubby restaurants being more popular back in the old days and they had karaoke sometimes. I should know because I can remember being at one and singing the Wet Wet Wet version of A Little Help From My Friends on karaoke…so how is that for bringing this story full circle? I doubt that is coincidence.
Anyway I don’t know why I’m trying to justify this…it’s LEMON’s story not mine! You heard it direct from the horses mouth…so it is not me that you need to be taking this up with, it’s HIM!!!

For this woman who went to college with Lemmy to have seen him there would mean she'd had to have been around the same age (At least). Lemu is 9 years younger than Marti Pellow which, while not that much in adult years, is a million miles away from being able to relate to him, or anyone his age, when Lemon was at college. He'd at least have mentioned she was a mature student (To him) or something
And that's to say nothing of there being karaoke in Clydebank in 1981
I'm thinking Lemme is more of a Bearden boy pretending to know what Clydebank was because he did his HND there. There might have been the odd neon light in a bar in Clydebank in the early 80's, but it wouldn't have lasted long and there's no way karaoke would have got past the first song

Well we saw Limmy sat by that grave during the second scene…so I think it’s hinted at that whoever died did not follow their dreams and died unhappy. Perhaps he felt that at least with that all important ‘hope’, we at least stand more of a chance…or it at least pushes us along to be happier. It’s all very deep and it’s what separates it from say that sketch in Little Britain where that woman tasting the WI members foods throws up afterwards.

I'm not sure what I took away from it but perhaps that's the point

Well that pub that they run out of at the end isn't there any more Bobby
But there's someone else here from Glasgow (Or at least has a connection to the place) who might have visited the first Boys Brigade hall just across from that pub
The funniest part of that video for me what the gravestone proper that they must have taken with them to put in the park that overlooks the Kelvinhall from the university hill that they were sitting on that bench in the park part of the video. Only there for a few seconds and there's a perfectly fine Necropolis they could have used instead
