No they didn't. They popularized a lot of stuff, but they didn't come up with it.
The people they influenced were better than them. Almost every Beatles cover is miles better than the original. So, I appreciate their place is music history but as a band yo enjoy, they were worth exploration, but they're not a band I keep going back to.

If they took the best parts of all of their songs and crafted it into one, they might have been able to slip it onto Let It Be. It is still a longshot, however.
