Going by that I am guessing that if a whole bunch of fatties jumped up and down on the ground they may not be able to really make a difference for two reasons.

1. Just those in the vicinity may have felt some tremor and no one away from it did.
2. The earth is really dense.
   As you know the only way an earthquake can make any difference to be felt by a lot far away from it is when the fault line shifts.
   So I really doubt there can be any earth shakes on the scale of earthquakes made with unnatural means.
