At my apartment, they activate both bug and roach bombs every week to repel the insects, so I rarely ever have to worry about them. Normally if I saw one, I’d just send it back outside.

I rarely see one, but if I do I'll pick it up in a paper towel and put it outside in the garden.

I never see them where I live.
I'll repel bugs though with cinnamon - most of them can't stand the smell, so they stay away.
The only pesty bugs I have to deal with are stink bugs. I flush them.
Big ants are pesty too, the cinnamon usually keeps them away.
