I see some guys sit in a lot revving for 20 to 30 minutes just making a lot of noise.

That I wouldn't know? I'd just rev it while at the stop light so that I could release the clutch and leave quickly to get ahead of traffic. I never just sat there revving or burning rubber or doing any of that other stuff. Seems like a waste.
