Jerry Krause was general manager of the Bulls and was instrumental in putting together the 6-time championship winning Bulls teams, but he is also credited with breaking the team up in 1998 due to his ego, which made him into a pariah in Chicago.
Last night the Bulls had a ceremony honoring those involved in winning their 6 championships, including a tribute to Jerry Krause, which his widow attended to honor his memory. She was left in tears by the crowd reaction.
