I doubt that. I know Emmy. Emmy is terrified of hands. She seems fine though without Dirk.
She's called out to him when he flew away! He called back but she didn't keep it up so he couldn't figure out how to return??! I dunno. I saw him up in the air circling and calling.

NZer, I'm not buying anymore birds. They don't make good pets. They are too wild and expensive and I'm losing money.
As it is the other 2 birds were like 85 dollars. That cage was $170. All those toys about $60 dollars. The seed is about $13 a bag every 2 months.
Not to mention clipping nails, trimming beaks.
It's too expensive to risk a wild bird suddenly flying out the friggin front door! Know what I mean?

Yeah. Just like last time except this time i was too slow to shut the front door. These birds are so quick and can squeeze through the smallest openings!
I was loading groceries from the porch and he got spooked or something. I saw him heading behind my back, groceries still in my arms, to the outisde. I couldn't react fast enough before he was GONE!
If I'd been about 30 seconds faster..
