Other than being sat on their arses all day behind a computer screen dictating to others how to live their lives, what is it that they do? Do they build homes? Stores? Railways? Care for the elderly?

Work = sacrifice for money
Poor people sacrifice their time doing things that require effort. Smart and/or rich people sacrifice money (aka invest, and they hope only temporarily) so that they can be given more money in return.
If you have money to offer as a sacrifice you too can avoid grafting.
