My best friend has done it for 25 years. We only have 4 clients. They are in the vulnerable category. I do half a week there over night because we are looking for an overnight crew. We are willing to pay quite a bit for it LOL.
We can sleep, some homes the clients require an awake caretaker. We thankfully do not. Ask about that. Then you are not tired during the day.

Nights in a museum would be a cool job with lots of downtime I would imagine, just got to watch out for Chinese ninjas.

It's funny you mention something like this because my dad sold his house to a private company so they can do stay over night shifts caring for young/vunerable people.
I might ask around as I would prefer nights due to having a child. There's nothing worse than being at work during the day and you have to pick your kid up due to an accident. It happened 3 times within a month last year and I count my lucky stars that I wasn't working lol

Contact the Government agencies and ask about in home services. Many are in need for a staff member to work over night in private in care homes. It is actually a hard shift to fill.
Ask the owner if there are any violent residents. We do not have any. We do not do elderly either. Our night person can sleep, they simply need to be there in case.
We make above minimum wage, you can almost set your price for night crew.
