What gets to me is how the Dems of this country were, and still are, doing all they can to take down a former TV star with zero political experience who became president and did not start any major wars and actually made friends with our enemies while supporting another who is also a former TV star who became president with zero political experience and is making enemies of our friends while encouraging and fighting in a major war.

But we never gave good ol' Fidel billions in military aid like we're giving to the war criminal in Ukraine. I kinda like Fidel, at least he was opposed to US imperialism. The Cuban Missile Crisis wouldn't have happened if the US hadn't placed missiles in Turkey (pointed at the USSR) in the first place. It was a tit-for-tat thing.
And the Bay of Pigs was terrible and an embarrassment for the US. I'm glad Castro got the best of us on that one, too.
Castro might have been a dictator and a commie to boot but at least he put the Cuban mafia out of business, gave his people the best health care in Latin America, took from the rich and gave to the poor, and made sure every Cuban had a roof over his or her head. Bless him. It's said that he had sex with at least two women a day and slept with over 35000 women in his lifetime.
