I like it chewy as well, though for crispy, it's best lean, I reckon. Chewy with most of the fat melted in my plate so I can slurp it down!

Lean, although it's not my favorite breakfast meat. 😁

That's insane, LOL! How come I've never heard of it?!
Though the brand probably has nitrates /-ites so I couldn't eat it is my guess. I buy no sugar, uncured pork bacon. I was in heaven this am: found packages with tons of white.
