I thought the mix on their latest album was pretty good. You could really hear everything. But the songwriting is pretty stale at this point.
Their first 3 albums though? Fucking phenomenal. 10,000 Days has its moments. Don't care for Jambi on that album, but it slaps live. Super heavy.

Agreed. I'm a big TOOL fan, and there's a lot more of their music I'd consider far superior.

A cool expansion on the old song, but otherwise I'd say it's less than average output from them.
