If you’re in your house and police come knocking, they cannot enter without a warrant or probable cause of exigent circumstances (ie they saw a crime happening or had reasonable, articulable belief someone was in danger). Never open your door to police, only converse out a window if you must.
When the oinkers were searching for the Boston Marathon bomber suspect they would enter people's houses with guns drawn and making the residents into suspects by having them go outside with their hands up.
Even if they were not violating their rights, I cannot help but feel as if they were.
What is your take on that situation?
If I am not under arrest no way will I put my hands up to make myself look like a suspect.

When stopped by highway patrol or traffic police your are legally required to give them your driver’s license if you are driving anything over a 50cc motor engine. Best option is just to be polite and not answer too many questions. However, you are allowed to legally open your window only as much as you want to talk to the cop, as you can show your DL and papers through the window. Cops can try and use the plain sight and “plain smell” doctrine to incriminate you still, so some people keep it rolled up. Never consent to police searches of your vehicle as it can be challenged with a good lawyer.
Never submit to a roadside sobriety test or breathalyzer, they’re designed for you to fail. Always opt for a blood test at a third party clinic of suspected of driving under the influence (even if you haven’t had a drink police can still accuse you of being drunk and falsify evidence against you).

It’s sad how many Americans aren’t aware of the rights afforded to them by the Constitution. The fifth amendment right to silence is a golden gift. Police are legally allowed to lie to you to get you to confess to something you didn’t do, and it’s your job not to incriminate yourself.

One has the legal right to not say anything at all to cops.
Just don't say a ****ing thing at all ever.
Another thing to keep in mind is that it is all up to the DA on what consequences you may face.
If a cop says something like, "If you cooperate you will get a light to no sentence at all."
That is all bullshit.
It is not up to the cops to decide your fate.
Stay silent with them even if or when they use any tactics to try and get you to talk.
