<p dir="auto">As smallpox comes to Bath and Richard Johnson and Claire Bloom resolve their marriage difficulties whilst fighting this modern day plague.<br />
But it's a better film than my trite description implies and anyone who knows Bath will particularly enjoy the 1960s shots - though perhaps it hasn't changed so much really.<br />
I have always depended on the kindness of Strangers - and the bastards let me down!</p>
