There's bit of a difference. Inflation rising with strong job growth is one thing. Inflation rising with no jobs is…not ideal.
In 2022 you could get a job without even having to put on your pants. I had two offers practically thrown at me just for existing. Now people are throwing thousands of applications into a black hole without even hearing anything back.
Anyway things aren't in the disaster zone yet. It's just stagnant. You'll have to wait 6 months and see how things play out.
