I find Hack bland and a lacked a projected charisma that could have made her character more appealing. Even Smith, who's Kellie was more reserved and straight laced had her own uniqueness. Hack wasn't that endearing to me.

I will try looking at her that way. As far as Shelley, I think people were just traumatized by her frizzy hair the first half of the season.

Roberts had a sweet vulnerability about herself, she lacked pretense and was natural and charming. She was also the most attractive of ALL the angels. Hack was just that, a hack. She was lucky enough just to be cast.

Well we all have our tastes and opinions. That is what makes the world go around. Tanya probably suffered because the producers mostly just wanted to get enough episodes for syndication and were going through the rounds.
I watched the show for glamour mostly and I was relieved when they finally started defrizzing poor Shelley's hair.

She got better and so did her grooming towards the end of the season. She was much better than the cheap Tanya Roberts.
