There are three pages about this movie on this forum - and nobody writes how ugly that annoying duck looks.
It is duck ugly. I do not see what could be done to "beautify" the ugliness. More taller - nope. Different shape - nope.
The mask for this duck could be used conveniently in any 80s horror movies as a prop.
I think it might work better if the damn duck was animated - as it was in the comic.
Perhaps producers of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" 2 years later decided to make their movie into animation character after this colossal dreck flopped.
The movie is actually almost watchable until 1 hour into the movie.
After the restaurant scene - it becomes utter crap, very much alike our regular modern hero movies. The action scenes only make it worse, like overcompensation in confidence - it looks more and more pathetic as they try more to appease the masses with trickery.

The film just got better and better and the dark overlord sequence in the nuclear power plant is awesome.
Howard is fine as he is. I found him extremely endearing.
Norman! What did you put in my tea?
