Hello my name is Stacie Noel. Lory and I went to the same high school we didn't know each other because she was a cheerleader and popular and I was not. We actually met at a Christmas party in 1991 and became best friends from the start. She was a recovering addict who had been sober for 10 years. Sadly she did not share with me that she had begun drinking again. I spoke with her at 10:30pm June 29, 2000, she sounded fine, we told each other we loved each other because she was going on a trip the next day. I got a call from her boyfriend at 7:30 am June 30 telling me she had passed away. I beleive the death certificate states accidental over dose. She had been married and divorced, had no children however it would have meant the world to her to have had a baby and often teased she would take my young daughter, to whom she was like an aunt, in a minute.
