So is this movie scary? Or has it got scary things in it but it makes the movie funny? I really wanna watch it because i loved Stan Helsing and this was on the suggested list

Scary, no I don't think so. Eerie, definitely. The game is very atmospheric.

I think the rat transformation scene is sort of iconic for the PE series. Back in 1998, it was scary and creepy. It's still freaky today, but I'd love to see this game re-made with updated graphics, a better battle system and voice acting as opposed to subtitles. Imagine how creepy and scary they could make it using today's technology.

I still think that Rat transformation on Day 1 was the best part of the game. Even after seeing it many times it still gives me chills. Sheeva's transformation on Day 3 was also awesome.

This game introduced me to opera style music and made me want to become an opera singer when I was like ten (of course, I still do. lol)

True what everyone said above. It only scary if your a small child. Otherwise its a freaking cool game.

Parasite Eve is indeed a freaky game. I am not sure about its sequel, but the first one is really creepy and gives off a science fiction vibe. It has a rat that grows teeth, splits it's tail right open, it's eye lid gets yanked pretty badly, and then looks wellI had nightmares at the age of 8. But it's not that bad now, depends on the age of the player.
