Walter Tetley (who does the voice of Sherman in the old Peabody and Sherman cartoons) stole the show in Who Done It? as the wise-cracking elevator operator. Anybody know why he was unbilled in this movie??? It's a mystery to me. He was in a few key scenes and had quite a bit of dialogue. And it was a great role, even if it was a small one.

Walter Tetley was absolutely hilarious in this film. Love how he gets the best of Lou a few times in the movie.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

is this the kid who claimed he could drink orange juice faster than Costello could make it? I'm confused because I thought he was an usher, not an elevator operator. Check the scene when he tries to get tickets for the radio show to two good looking girls.

Back in the old days, generally only stars and featured players received billing. Tetley was far from the only unbilled actor in the filmMilton Parsons, Ben Weldon and Norman Abbott, among others, also come to mind. Additionally, in Tetley's case, he was originally supposed to be in only one scene, so he was signed as a day player. But Costello liked him so much that he had extra bits written for himbut he was still officially a day player, so no billing.
