She drowned due to a bad mix of chemicals and too much time in the sauna. Bill had a large sauna right by the pool which she used that night. I'd say she was probably drunk, and reports did say she had quite a bit of valium in her system. It seems as though the reason she drowned would be she just wasn't in her right mind to realise what she was doing when she jumped in the pool.
