Yeah, it was a good scene until he saw the photo of himself on the fridge, and I was like, "Yeah, suuuurrrre." I hated that moment when the boy wished happy thoughts for him, but obviously, nobody cares in real life. But he's a kid who doesn't know any better. Ironically, I thought it was the same boy from Silent Fall with Richard Dreyfuss. They kind of look alike, but the movie was came out in 1994.

The poor guy was just lonely and needed a friend and for some reason, which they don’t explain, decided to have them as a surrogate family to think of them as friends when they were just customers.
I like that twist or concept for a creeper movie.
What did you think about the fantasy of him being in their house?
It fooled me!
I like how they set it up where it looks like he is getting busted but then they didn’t mind him being there then fooled me again when he was just day dreaming it all.

I thought about stalking being a crime. Is that really strong enough to make a charge? I don't think so; probably a probation or a restraining order. The filmmakers made the decision easy by forcing Sy to take the next step, so we could all say, "Now, that's a Norman Bates in the making." On the other hand, I wonder if the movie would be better if the stalking part was focused on without the rest following through. Will that work or feel like an ultimate letdown?
I will have two more reviews done this week based on your movie suggestions.

Glad to see you got around to watching one of my suggestions.
I think he could have been busted for stalking.
He was living vicariously through the family and was bothered by the husband cheating on his wife so he confronts the cheating couple to take pics, or appears to, for what reason?
Just to humiliate the heck out of them so they don’t do it again?
He did not get the results he wanted when he slipped that picture into the pack for the wife to see so he goes to plan B.
Since he did not have film in the camera there is no evidence of that so he will probably just be charged with holding them at knife point against their will, assault and maybe stalking.
