We have been trying for years to express that she needs a healthy diet and she absolutely must exercise, but she doesn't seem to want to do any of these things, and she continues to gain weight.
Given her circumstances and lack of compliance (ie: her increased appetite from her psych meds), the Wegovy is a proven supplement that works when used properly, and it may help her enough to sort of "jump start" her into some better habits. She doesn't seem capable of the discipline required to do this on her own, so I suggested she speak to her physician to discuss these possibilities to help motivate her. Once she sees the weight loss, it's possible she'll actually look forward to losing weight for her own health.

Ask your doctor if you are a candidate for Wegovy or Zepbound. They have been proven to work. Ozempic is if you have diabetes, while the other two I mentioned are for weight loss. You have a choice. If you want to lose weight bad enough, you can spend your money on these medications instead of some of the other stuff you buy. If you're serious, these modalities do work but always make sure to ask your doctor/s because like any medication, including psych meds, all have potential side-effects.
A few of us have suggested this to you, and if you're having a hard time controlling your appetite, these might be helpful for you if your doctor recommends them as possibilities.
