Whenever I watch these shows, I always thing “how might things go for me” if I were in their shoes.
They’re out there for like 3 years, a group of young teenage girls and one dude. There is NO way in hell Travis isn’t getting laid by 1 or all of those girls, even the lesbians. In real life, Travis would be super busy all the time tending to their needs.
With attraction, so much relies on supply and demand. If you’re literally the only guy in a girl’s world, attraction is likely to develop. That is why Hannah the Frog Woman was with The Nerd. He was probably her only male colleague who is a viable partner. But then when superior competition arrived, she became attracted to Kano the Guide (Jeff) right away. That is before she caved in his skull in a metaphorical act of spiritual sexual depravity.
Travis has no such problem. He is their only dude for 3 years. The show wrote in a lot of lesbianism but most of the girls are ostensibly straight, and the writers have effectively made them out to be asexual. In reality, they’d all be hitting up Travis all the time.
I actually think if it were a real teen boy who isn’t a complete pussy, he’d be the chief of the group. As Shauna uses physicality to bully others, a man who is many times stronger than all the woman would cull her into submission. Although Shauna is cunning enough to overtake the submissive Travis, she’d likely want a piece or all of the action he has to give.
Anyways, did the writers intentionally write Travis to have low T?
