How about making a sequel to this film? As of the date of this post, Ron Howard, Christopher Norris, and Clint Howard are all still alive. Hoover and Darlene (at their current age) could get together again 50 years after the events of the first film, and take another wild ride.
I'm guessing it might be tough to convince all of them to act in this sequel; but maybe the would-be film producer could make them an offer they couldn't refuse.
