I was just checking out Buffy's IMDb trivia and I never heard of this before……
From the IMDb trivia section:
"Originally another actress had been cast as Anya, but backed out after finding out it was only for two guest spots. The role wound up going to Emma Caulfield Ford, and, starting toward the end of the third season, Anya became a regular character throughout the rest of the show's run."
Does anyone have more context/information about this ???

Oh, wow, I had not heard that before. I wish there had been more context. Was this from an interviews or a dvd feature I missed?
