Who was the woman that Don Knotts was working on in the beginning of the movie?

That scene was absolutely hysterical. That woman was one hell of a mean and uncooperative old battleaxe.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

I've always thought the female dental patient of Don Knott's was a male made up to be a woman but I'm wrong. HOWEVERyou do notice in some of the fight scenes at a distance, it clearly shows it's a man dressed up as the woman and it looks like a little kid playing the part of Don Knottsespecially when he jumps on the "woman's back.

I wondered if that person was really totally (born) female, being big & have a masculine face. Was that person a male made up like a [kinda] female or a transexual?
Probably not, especially considering the time that the movie was made. An actress who was considerably bigger that Don Knotts (not hard to find) & kinda masculine looking, as well as being able to put on a mean face, was chosen.

The Dentist scene with the woman in the chair reminded me of the W.C. Fields bit that was sensored. That scene with Fields, was a bit more risque.

Katherine Barrett. Man, she's funny. Too bad it looks like she didn't have any major roles.
