you absolutely sicken me. whatever made you decide to make a piece of
crap movie about the murderer of a nine year old girl instead of the
strength of that amazing nine year old girl i will never know, that
murdering b**** doesn't deserve a "tribute" like this and i am appalled
just as I was when those idiots from my high school came to ask me to
get an interview with Elizabeth's mom because you obviously had them
sold on this garbage. You apparently love to take advantage of other
people's heartbreak and you got all the facts wrong since you said this
was "based on a true story." This was the act of one monstrous
individual, not the group of depressed teenagers you portray in this
disgusting display of emotions that people feel every day yet manage to
still feel compassion and don't feel the need to murder a sweet girl
with so much promise for this world. You should be ashamed of yourself.
I am so p***** at this abomination that I actually created an account
for this site. Three years after Elizabeth's murder and I'm still
p***** off. I have waited this long to watch this because I thought by
now I would have made room for forgiveness in my heart and this would
help me understand why Elizabeth was taken from this world as you have
made it obnoxiously clear that there are two sides to every story but
the only side I still feel devotion to is the child who was ripped from
all of us and what upset me the most was how soon this production was
made. The murderer hadn't even been sentenced. I remember reading a
letter you had written to Elizabeth's family stating that you meant no
offense; I was so angry I couldn't see straight. How dare you degrade a
nine year old girl's memory. Good luck with your next movie.

You are all "Sold" now that the "OP" said what she said? What are you a bunch of sociopaths? The OP had a great point, and this movie was complete garbage. This is coming from someone who tries to write and direct the most beep up films ever, and is a huge fan of very disturbing films. This was trash The subject was trash It was a disgrace to the young girl that got murdered. I don't even know how a film like this gets on amazon prime, or anything for that matter. This actually has reviews?
By the way my favorite film is Gummo.

It sounded to me as though the op was speaking more on a personal level. I guess they're actually acquainted with the family of the real victim? Having said that, I have to agree with the OP only in that This actually was based on a true story and almost glorifies the murdering teen without paying any homage or respect whatsoever to the little girl, Elizabeth Olten, who actually was murdered. The teen killer's name, "Alyssa" is even the same as the actual real life accused, Alyssa Bustamante. If you Google Bustamante, you'll find a fairly recent mugshot of her smiling/smirking.This after about 3 years in jail already and she's,I think 18 in the mugshot. I don't think the OP'S rant was simply bashing a "bad movie". I think it's more personal, and I agree with them. Just sayin. I'm a mom and if it was my little girl who was brutally murdered, I would absolutely find a way to fv<king kill the bitch.
