I liked the ending. I thought it was perfectly believable that it was an angry cuckolded husband behind the whole thing. It's one of those things that happens all the time, so it totally worked for me.

Also, whoever gets paid to write the summary on the back of the DVD needs to be laid off, I think. According to the back, this movie takes place in the mountains of Wisconsin. Um, there are no mountains in Wisconsin (Rib Mountain doesn't countbig hill-not technically a mountain).

I agree the ending was extremely disappointing. Duel was 100 times better, if you have the DVD of Joy Ride, you have your choice of endings.
